Tiling Course in Kirklees

Tiling Course in KirkleesThere are opportunities in both North and South Kirklees with the courses running at build academies in both Dewsbury and Huddersfield.

The 29 week course (approx 15 hours a week) will start in February and is an ideal opportunity for people who are looking for new career as no previous experience of plastering and tiling is necessary.

Successful applicants will work towards gaining industry recognised qualifications, develop practical skills and gain experience which together will improve their chances of finding employment. ‘build’ will also work with students to improve their job search skills.

Those who successfully complete the course will receive a level1 qualification in plastering and a City & Guilds level 2 diploma in wall and floor tiling.

‘build’ – a local purchasing and labour initiative for the construction industry in Kirklees – is working in partnership with Calderdale College to offer this training opportunity.

Anyone who is interested must attend a recruitment event where they will find out more about the course including an opportunity to apply; all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will receive a guaranteed interview.
